Pastor Simpson, or Dr. Simpson was called upon the Lord to the ministry at 16 years old. Knowing this was one thing, however answering the call whole-heartedly was more like second nature. When you are walking in alignment with what God has for you it may feel difficult at times, because the tricks of the enemy never cease.
With a background in Health Care, and a doctorate in Health Administration Pastor Simpson is an avid ally of assisting individuals to reach their educational goals, not only in the secular world, but also with the lord. Educating Gods people with bible studies, sunday school classes, creating teaching guides even creating a course called 'bible 101' Pastor Simpson is here to help His people to learn and understand, from Biblically-based teaching, for themselves.

Church Administrator
Deacon Keith R. Simpson was raised in Houston, TX. Deacon Keith has been an active and committed Refuge Temple of Prayer (RTOP) member since its inception on August 1, 2021. Deacon Simpson is the Church Administrator as well as the Chairman of the Trustee Board. Deacon Simpson loves and is committed to the Lord. Before moving to Arizona, Deacon Simpson was a Jones Memorial Methodist Church member in Houston, TX.
Deacon Simpson is also a "lifetime member" of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and active with the Xi Nu Nu chapter in West Phoenix. Along with being busy with his church, he is also dedicated to the mission and vision of the Chapter he serves. He is involved with community events associated with Xi Nu Nu to assist needy people.
Praise & Worship
Minister Tracy Glover is a member of the Refuge Temple of Prayer Church
and is a licensed minister. Tracy is a prayer warrior, second to none. Her love
for God is genuine and sincere.
Minister Tracy was a member of Emmanuel Baptist from early childhood until
her relocation to AZ in 2018. She served in the Women’s Ministry and was
the Director of the Evangelism Ministry and the Women Chorus at Emmanuel
Baptist Church, San Jose, CA. In addition, Min. Tracy was a member of the
finance team. At EBC, she worked hard throughout the community, feeding
people experiencing homelessness and caring for our senior citizens. Minister Tracy has been a featured speaker at churches, conferences, and retreats. Her favorite scripture:

Youth Pastor
Alexander Jordan Glover is a native of San Jose, California. Alexander has been involved in church since a young age. Since Alex joined Refuge Temple of Prayer in its inaugural year, he has been very active. Alex supports the Audio/Visual Ministry and is very talented. Alex finds various areas to work in as needed. He participates in the Praise Team and helps with Ushering when called upon.
Alexander graduated from a local Arizona Trade School, completing and mastering Welding. Following his education, Alex was immediately hired and offered an apprenticeship and has excelled ever since. His desire to learn and work hard is why he was the best fit for leading our Youth Department.
Alex is not only kind, polite, and charming, he relates well to the youth. They appreciate his wonderful humor and find much comfort in his leadership. Alex is a regular participant in the educational opportunities of RTOP (Refuge Temple of Prayer). Moreover, Alex enjoys assisting his youth department in our outreach ministry.
